Room 16 FPPS

We are extremely lucky to have Mr Badman as our Numeracy and Literacy support this year. This term he is supporting us with the First 20 Days of Independent Reading by conferencing our reading.
Our Word Study contract is completed on a weekly basis. We complete 7 tasks from a range of activities to learn our words. Each Monday we test each other on our word lists.

We divide into three groups for Numeracy with Mr Worthington's class. We participate in Numeracy on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This term we are focusing on Number.

We have been enthusiastically participating in Rock and Water each Wednesday afternoon with Master Tim. The Rock and Water Program will continue for the rest of the term and recommence in term 3.

We are looking forward to University afternoon starting this week on Thursday afternoon. In this time we have the opportunity to book into an activity of our choice. Five activities will be offered each Thursday between the Primary teachers and Sonya.

We have started a unit in Science on light. Miss Gillis and her class (Rm 8) are also working on Light this term. We look forward to sharing information with each other and the rest of the school through our class blog.
